This spring has brought with it some major surprises in our day-to-day world. One of those is how many people are now growing herbs – some for the first time in their lives. Those same people are asking questions like:
When will my basil be ready to harvest?
How can I use oregano in casseroles?
Are herbs okay for a keto or paleo diet?
What can I do with fresh dill leaves?
If this sounds like you, I’m here to help. This summer I am dedicating my time beginning July 1 to give you the low-down each week on an herb for the kitchen. The weekly herb will be the subject of my blog post and social media posts.
As part of that I will be including easy to follow recipes you can use with what you have now in the kitchen. To give you a taste (pun intended) of what is to come, I have published a collection of 10 new recipes for you to try. To make it easier for you to find all my recipes (including the ones from previous years) I have added a menu item for my recipes.
P.S. Not growing herbs yet? No problem! All my recipes can be used with dried herbs from the grocers. You’ll still get the benefit of the enhanced flavor.
