Oven Fried Sesame ChickenCourse: DinnerDifficulty: Easy
1/2 C. butter/margarine, melted
1 egg, well beaten
1/3 C. milk
3/4 C. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 C. pecans, finely chopped
3 Tablespoons sesame seeds
3 skinned chicken breasts, sliced lengthwise
- Pour butter/margarine into 15 inch, shallow metal pan, spreading evenly. Set aside. Combine egg and milk. Mix well.
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt, paprika, pepper, chopped pecans and sesame seeds.
- Rinse chicken and pat dry. Dip chicken in egg mixture and dredge in flour mixture. Place chicken in prepared pan. Bake at 325* for 30 minutes. Turn chicken and bake an additional 30 minutes or until tender.
